Miguel Mota Delgado is a researcher at the European University Institute. Miguel’s Ph.D. research is supervised by Professor Nicolas Petit and focusses on intersecting issues of EU constitutionalism and EU competition policy. Before joining the European University Institute, Miguel trained with Advocate General Michal Bobek at the Court of Justice of the European Union, taught EU and International Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and was an attorney in the EU and competition law practice of a major Portuguese law firm. Miguel joined the Portuguese Bar in 2021, is a researcher at the Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law since 2016 and a Member of the Portuguese chapter of the International Society of Public Law - ICON•S Portugal since 2021. Miguel holds an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe (Promotion Simone Veil).
