Velizar Kirilov is a Ph.D. researcher at the Law Department of the European University Institute (EUI). His thesis investigates the intersection of antitrust, intellectual property, and sectoral regulation in the innovative segment of the pharmaceutical industry, using a comparative and interdisciplinary approach. He is also interested in innovation theory, life sciences law, technology regulation, and law and economics.
